1. What this covers

These terms apply to the Glimy launcher, the Glimy client (the Glimy mod for Minecraft) and this website. The provider is PrePlay Host UG (haftungsbeschränkt) (we). Our details are in the imprint.

2. Minecraft and Mojang

Glimy is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.

Minecraft itself is also covered by Mojang's and Microsoft's terms, above all the Minecraft End User License Agreement (EULA) and the Microsoft Services Agreement. Glimy does not change them.

3. Requirements

You need your own purchased copy of Minecraft: Java Edition and the Microsoft account it belongs to. Before starting, Glimy checks that your account owns the game. Glimy downloads the game files directly from Mojang.

4. What you may do with Glimy

Glimy is free. You may use Glimy privately and install it on your own devices. You may not:

• Sell Glimy or pass it on for money
• Distribute modified versions of Glimy under the Glimy name or logo
• Modify Glimy to get around the ownership check or the Microsoft sign-in

Only download Glimy from glimy.de or glimyclient.com. Copies from other sites may have been tampered with. The Glimy name and logo belong to us.

5. Content from others

Mods, shaders, resource packs and modpacks you install from Modrinth through Glimy come from their authors and are under their licences. Glimy checks that files arrive unchanged, not what they do. Their authors are responsible for this content.

6. Play fair

Follow the rules of the servers you play on. Some servers do not allow certain features or mods. Glimy contains no cheats; do not use Glimy to harm others or to get around rules either.

7. Alpha

Glimy is a test version. There may be bugs, and features may change or go away. Back up worlds that matter to you. We do not promise that Glimy will always work or that we will keep developing it.

8. Liability

Because we provide Glimy free of charge, we are only liable for intent and gross negligence. We are liable without limitation for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and where we fraudulently concealed a defect.

9. Changes

We may change these terms, for example when Glimy gets new features. The new version will then be on this page with a new date.

10. Law and contact

German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of the country you live in remain unaffected. Questions about these terms: glimy@preplayhost.com.
