Status and download
Glimy is in alpha and currently being tested internally. There is no public download yet.
Alpha Once Glimy is ready for everyone, the download will be right here. Never get Glimy from other sites, Discord links or video descriptions.
Where Glimy is now
- Done:Launcher and client are running: Profiles, mods and the Glimy client work in our internal tests, which run without Microsoft sign-in and with test data
- In progress:Sign-in approval: Sign-in with Microsoft and the check that an account owns Minecraft: Java Edition are built in but not switched on yet. For that we need approval from Microsoft and Mojang, which we are waiting for now
- Still to come:Public download for Windows: Only then will Glimy be available here, free of charge
What you need
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
- A purchased copy of Minecraft: Java Edition and the Microsoft account you bought it with
- An internet connection on first start, so Glimy can download the game files from Mojang
- No Java of your own: Glimy downloads the right version itself
The Glimy client runs with every version of Minecraft 26 (26.x). The launcher starts other versions too, then without the Glimy mod.
What Glimy costs
Nothing. Glimy is free. All you need is your own copy of Minecraft.
